Tuesday Biden administration announced coronavirus vaccine direct shipment to retail pharmacies in next week, access for Americans to receive shots of coronavirus vaccine.

White House Covid-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients said in a briefing “majority people of America go their local pharmacies every day for their medicines. This programme will start on February 11, 6500 pharmacies stores will receive a total 1 million doses of covid-19 vaccine.”

Zients also added “increase their production of weekly vaccines allocation and government plans to ship weekly 10.5 million doses to states and territories for next three weeks.”

He said the Federal Emergency Management Agency will fully reimburse states for provided some services beginning of the pandemic in 2020, like personal protective equipment and the mobilization of the National Guard. The estimated price will be $3-5 billion. Pfizer and Moderna vaccine maker production extra doses.

 “Early phase, many pharmacies do not enough doses across the country or limited supply,” Zients said.

According to the administration includes 21 nations pharmacy and other pharmacies could expand up to 40,000. But initial phase do not active in every states.

Administration announce their federal pharmacy partners Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, Inc, Walmart, Inc, Rite Aid Corp, The Kroger Co, Publix Super Markets, Inc, Costco Wholesale Corp, Albertsons Companies, Inc, Hy-Vee, Inc, Meijer Inc, H-E-B, LP, Retail Business Services, LLC, Winn-Dixie Stores Inc.

Trump administration as well plans to expand vaccine availability in pharmacies in some states such as Maryland and those pharmacies already distribute vaccines.

Walensky said, “I think we are able to distribute the vaccine to all the pharmacies in the country.”
